City of Westfield

The Columbia Greenway Rail Trail is owned by the City of Westfield. We have an ongoing active partnership with the City’s Community Development, Engineering, and Public Works departments, as well as all of our elected officials, where we advocate for trail maintenance and enhancements.

We also provide input on various cycling- and pedestrian-focused projects across the city. Pages that describe these projects are below:

New Haven & Northampton Canal Greenway Alliance

We are a member of the New Haven & Northampton Canal Greenway Alliance, representing seven nonprofit groups that make up the 81-mile multi-use greenway in Massachusetts and Connecticut, with a focus on strengthening the tourism and recreational opportunities along the greenway corridor.

Non-Profit Organizations

We also collaborate with various local and regional rail trail and other advocacy organizations.
