Our Mission
Friends of the Columbia Greenway Rail Trail, Inc. (FOCGRT), an outgrowth of the downtown Westfield visioning and strategic planning sessions of 2009, exists to create pathways to a bicycle- and pedestrian-friendly Westfield.
Specifically, we work to:
achieve 100% design and construction of the Columbia Greenway Rail Trail,
establish and sustain maintenance of the trail; and,
educate on the need for comprehensive infrastructure to respond to the need for a safe, viable, and accessible active transportation network in the city of Westfield.
