The Elm St. bridge will be refurbished and transformed into a signature piece of the Columbia Greenway offering unmatched views of downtown Westfield.
The Central Section
The Central Section of the Columbia Greenway is scheduled to be open for use in late 2021. This final section will connect the trail from Main St. to the Westfield River Esplanade. The Central Section is entirely above-grade, with five bridges to take users safely across the city. Two new access ramps will bring users from up on the trail down into city to access all the amenities Westfield has to offer.
